From the news channel official Valve (creators of great sagas such as counter-strike, half-life, Left 4 Dead, Portal and Team Fortress) today announced the future output of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS: GO).
They promise that this new release will continue the already successful action in team based the original game, and that also will expand with new maps, characters, weapons and upgrades. New elements will be added to the game as different modes, create games, ranking, and more
The game is being developed by Valve, along with Hidden Path Entertainment. It is pointing out the early months of next year (2012), and will be distributed digitally across platforms (both PC and Mac) Steam, Playstation Network and Xbox Live Arcade.
But there's more: there will be a playable demo at PAX Prime and Eurogamer Expo this year events.
