APK PSX Games For Xperia (UPDATABLE) PlayThursday 18th of August 2011 04:37:30 AM
WORK WITH THE OFFICIAL EMULATOR OF THE PHONE TO BE INSTALLED:
1 copy the folder with the ZPAK to the /sdcard/Android/data of the telephone directory, and the APK to anywhere in the SD card.
2 - Once this is done, enter Ajustes-Aplicaciones, and indicate "Unknown sources" box in order to install the APK of the game (if unchecked can not isntalar things that are not in the Market).
3 Used a Root Explorer or Astro file manager to install the APK.
4. By apparently you can hang the first time, but if you still trying it should start.
ATTENTION! I have not tested all of the games, is possible that some do not run, the reason is that the emulator of the phone is perfect and SONY should not improve it with updates (as happened in psp)
SPECIAL FINAL FANTASY 7
I have converted the final fantasy 7 to play with the emulator xperia play native. With software rendering works perfect and without bugs.
The emulator and the converter still do not support MULTIDISK, but I think that my method should work. Obviously I have not tried, but if someone ends the first album that report whether the method is valid.
EXPLANATION: You have 3 disks the same ID, so the emulator Scelsi saves with 3 discs and the installer should recognize any disk as if it were one only.
1 - install the file com.sony.playstation.NCXA77777_1.apk from the SD card
2 copy the folder with the ZPAK to the /sdcard/Android/data of the telephone directory
3 - and here comes the important, when you have finished the album save the game, at that time it will ask you to insert disc 2
4 Exit the emulator, connect the phone or the card to the pc and substitute the folder com.sony.playstation.NCXA77777_1 for the same that comes in the rar ff72 (it is the second album, but with the same id as the first disc, therefore we can not copy the 2/3 disks at the same time, is sustituirian)
5 - if my theory is valid, to load the save should start disk 2 without problems.
6 - If the method works, do the same with disc 3.

IF ANY GAME OS GIVES GRAPHICS FAILURE TRY THIS:
Basically, the idea is to activate the rendering software to increase compatibility, though at the cost of performance (basically like video players). However, it should do it by hand, by editing an XML file. Steps to follow:
(1) Opening the game to create the folder that we need. Once open we change any setting, for example the screen. EXIT SAVING THE GAME ON EXIT
(2) Once we step out of the game, connect the Play to the PC and searching the directory /Android/data/com.sony.playstation. < game code >
(3) Enter "ucc" folder and then click the subfolder to leave.
(4) You will see two XML files. It is that we want to edit "preferences".
(5) Open the preferences.xml with a serious editor file (Notepad ++, gedit or similar) and we will have something such as:
< boolean name = "up-rendering" value = "true" / >
< string name = "screen orientation" > < /string > Landscape
< boolean name = "fps-counter" value = "false" / >
< boolean name = "sw-render" value = "false" / >
< boolean name = "on screen controller" value = "false" / >
< string name = "on screen controller type landscape" > Type 1 < /string >
< string name = "on screen controller type portrait" > Type 1 < /string >
< string name = "on screen controller Color landscape" > Color 1 < /string >
< string name = "on screen controller Color portrait" > Color 1 < /string >
< boolean name = "on screen controller vibrator" value = "true" / >
< string name = "on screen controller transparency 0" value = "100" / >
< string name = "on screen controller transparency 1" value = "100" / >
< string name = "screen on controller 2 transparency" value = "50" / >
< string name = "on screen controller scale 0" value = "100" / >
< string name = "on screen controller scale 1" value = "100" / >
< string name = "screen on controller 2 scale" value = "100" / >
< string name = "screen on controller 3 scale" value = "100" / >
< string name = "button mapping" > Type 1 < /string >
< string name = "screen mode" > < /string > Normal
< string name = "save progress" > < /string > Off
< boolean name = "frame skipping" value = "false" / >
< string name = "controller port" value = "1" / >
< boolean name = "analog mode" value = "true" / >
(6) Edit marked Boolean variable to value = "true". Thus activate the rendering software.
