The Loggerhead Menem Comparison

Now that they became the primary and Cristina pulled a crushing 50.7%K anti - which were apparently very angry - don't do that spit out his anger and frustration. And in the midst of his indignation say some than anything that even seems an expression of desire by others sick. Is this "thing" they say that "This makes them agree to the times of the Turkish", "this is like that in 1995", and so far as to times included in the (incredible) Rua in his tirade. As well, hoping that we once again go just to see if we realize once and for all that this Government - according to them - will lead to ruin. I listened to things such as "this soon ends as in 2001, you are going to see".
WTF?
Do these people think really that writes?
In my opinion, nobody in their right mind can say that the Government of M * nem (and what about the De la Rua) was as Nestor and Cristina.
Taking only a few very basic points, but that I believe are very important:

UNEMPLOYMENT
Menem
Menem assumed in 1989 with a 6 % unemployment.
Between 1990 and 1991the thing is more or less the same, without too many changes in the number.
In 1992, the rate increases to 7 %
In 1993, unemployment hovers at the 9.3%
In 1994, the percentage of unemployed rising to 12.2%
In 1995the rate continues to rise and reaches the 18.4%to finish in a 16.6%
In 1996 reaches the 17.3%
In 1997, the index down to 13.7%
In 1998, the percentage back down to a 12.4%
In 1999 back up and climbs up the 14 %
There is a fact that I would like to highlight. The year 1995 is when it is the highest rate of unemployment in the period Menem, reaching as far as the 18.4 per cent of people without work. This was the so-called "tequila effect", which was neither more nor less than an international crisis (originated in Mexico). This crisis has made us stock market, rising unemployment by 6% in just a few months.
De la Rua
When is my namesake (what milk I have), unemployment was of the 14 %.
In the 2000, the rate goes up to the 15 %
In May of 2001, last year of De la Rua, unemployment went up to the 16.4%. In October of that same year, the figure was of 18.3% According to INDEC, although private estimates were loosely above 20% (and I believed that INDEC began to be desconfiable when they took over the K, before being a flawless body). By year's end, the number was in the stratosphere and gave a 25 %.

Period "K"
Néstor Kirchner assumes in May of 2003 with an unemployment rate of approximately 20 %. In that same year, the rate drops to end in a 17.5% in the third quarter.
In the 2004the figure continues to decline and comes to the 14 %.
In the 2005, the percentage of 11.6%
In the 2006 of 9 %
In the 2007, year that takes over Cristina, of 8.5%
In the 2008, of 7.9%
The 2009 It is the only year since that starts the period Kirchner in which unemployment is growing. However, this increase is mild (little more than half a point), coming to the 8.5%
In the 2010 unemployment back down and ends in 7.9%.
Today, in 2011, the rate of unemployment is of 7.6%.

As with Menem, there is a fact that I would like to highlight. From the year 2008, is suffering a crisis at the global level that began in the U.S. and then spread to several countries in Europe.
Remember that above, I spoke of the "Tequila effect" and the result that had level employment in Argentina? Read the two situations and compare the impacts at the national level. I don't think they can tell me that they are equal.
Another fact to emphasize: recently I learned that the "full employment" recognizes that country which has 5% or less of rate of unemployment. If so, they will not me to deny that we are very close.
And one last thing: ok, can you tell me "but these data the got for sure INDEK". In fact not entirely. I went to the page of the INDEC, of course, but also to the ILO (International Labour Organization, United Nations), to the CIA World Factbook, Wikipedia and various daily online. All threw almost identical figures. Anyway, even if some person be wary of the numbers, it cannot be denied that during m * nemista-delaruista there was a clear upward trend (very upstream), while there was a clear downward trend at the K.

Going clean:
Since the assumed M * nem unless he was, the unemployment rate rose more than 100 per cent (from 6% to 14%).
Since the De la Rua assumed unless it was, the unemployment rate rose more than 100 per cent (from 14% to 25%).
Since the assumed Néstor Kirchner until today, the unemployment rate fell much more than 100 per cent (from 20% to 8%).

INVESTMENT IN EDUCATION
We know that back in the early 1990s, the money earmarked for education reached 2 per cent of GDP.

Today, goes more than 6%, the highest percentage in the Argentina history
.

PRIVATIZATION
I think everyone knows that M * enem privatized until the air we isotopes. Aerolíneas Argentinas (reprivatizada in 2000 by De la Rua), Entel (which became Telefónica and Telecom), railways, water, YPF (I know, I will discuss Nestor K with this), electric power, Gas del Estado (today Metrogas), the creation of the AFJPS and several more. In fact there were more than 30 privatizations (some of them very important) during the Turkish rule.

Since 2003 not only not continued with the privatization, but that several of which had been made in the 1990s were again passed to the State, as Aerolíneas Argentinas, Aguas Argentinas, termination of contract business train Metropolitan (thus returning to the State), the AFJP.

VIEW A GENOCIDAL
In 1990, Menem pardoned among others to Jorge Rafael Videla, Emilio Massera, Roberto Viola, Ramón Camps, Guillermo Suárez Mason, Orlando Agosti and Martinez de Hoz.

In June 2005 was declared the unconstitutionality of the laws of Punto Final and due obedience, sanctioned in the Alfonsín Government, allowing that you can continue with many trials.

HUNGER
This is a fucking topic. In my opinion, if one person goes hungry in my country already is much. But more noise to me, there are data indicating that, while not perfect (and hopefully it was), there are substantial and undeniable improvements.
We all know how it was Argentina at the end of 1999 and how ended up at the end of 2001. I think that it does not lack that please, anyone who has more than 20 years will be recalled that this was 10 years ago.
Today, year 2011 (and not according to the INDEC but the United Nations), Argentina is among the countries with the lowest rate of people passing hunger in the world, according to the 2011 hunger map

And so many other things that were made over the past 8 years.
As the creation of the Ministry of science and technology, the repatriation of more than 800 scientists who had to go by the Governments of the Rua and Menem, 1000 schools built against the menemismo 0, the AUH, the joint, two increases per year (by law) to retirees, the revaluation of the policy as a tool to change everyday realities, reservations record in the BCRA amounting to more than 58 million of dollars (when they were 8 to take Nestor Kirchner), Miss FTAA, alca, to hell in the Office that had the IMF by the Ministry of economy, not having to comply with this latter agency policies that were always the same: more and more adjustment to the people, militancy, the fiscal surplus, sustained growth at rates of approximately 9% per year, netbooks for the kids, some recovery and sustained the economy reflected in e.g. 100 per cent occupied seats while there is a long weekend, sales record rise all the time... and so many more things that I forget now, but they are.
Want to, I say them what I know and see and what I could find (there was data that didn't know them accurately), what I see is that the Government of M * nem is not or by remotely equal to Néstor and Cristina.
Of course that there are more things that occur to me every minute I think, and that which they wrote I did very to the beast. But I think they are quite significant and are real and tangible things.

Surely that this Government has things open to criticism. The challenge to find a Government in the world throughout history to be perfect. But from there to say that this model is a copy of that furious 90 neoliberalism is an infinite stretch.
Perhaps fallacious and brought comparison of hairs is only what can go a few, now that most of the 50 % He defended the management of this Government in the face of general elections in October.
