The title focuses on Harry Mason while searching for his daughter, Cheryl, who has disappeared after an accident of car which left Harry unconscious. The protagonist is located in Silent Hill, a town which appears abandoned and surrounded by fog, snow out of season, full of monsters, and being invaded by the Otherworld, a darkness that makes the structures of the village in a hellish vision. While Harry runs through the town, begins to discover the history of Silent Hill and a ritual cult carried out to bring a God to Earth.

Silent Hill : The Room is a survival horror video game developed by Team Silent and published by Konami in 2004 for the Sony PlayStation 2, Xbox and PC. ESthe fourth in the series with the same name which deals with a mysterious town called Silent Hill.
Unlike the previous titles, which had as a backdrop the town of Silent Hill, this game takes place in the fictional town of South Ashfield, and focuses on the character of Henry Townshend, which tries to escape from a supernatural confinement in his apartment. In doing so ends up exploring a series of strange worlds and finds himself in the midst of a conflict with a serial killer linked to the mythology of Silent Hill.
