Marco Benevento

Marco Benevento is a pianist of the United States as they say, that makes - rock-avant-grade, etc... well, at least so classified on some sides to this album, in my opinion is a kind of post -
Leszek Mozdzer

Is an album of versions (I think) in which Polish pianist Mozdzerplays in solo piano themes of his compatriot Krzysztof Komeda, what makes this album interesting, besides inerpretar "classics" of (at least in ), it's makes arrangements of these musics in such a way that the limits of classical music and dissolves, likewise has also made versions of rock and roll classics such as Smells Like Teen Spirit in The Time of the 2005 albumfor example...

Espen Eriksen Trio
You Had Me At Goodbye is one of the jewels of the post, is the debut album by the Norwegian trio, is particularly special for the spirit of dark and melancholic, but not depressed that this implied in each topic, is a very melodic album, as in the previous ones are music with improvisation, issues very elegant but with 'wave'. I really recommend it, because it is an album that makes you feel good, serves to think, to listen to lie down in darkness or rain to travelthe bondy, or to listen to eating, one Sunday at noon, it is a glorious and simple, sad Yes, but a sadness in peace, is as a pass through the neighborhood in which you Uruguay, or your school and remember that you were happy and now any change, but that is not bad, either... in short, is an introspective albumfor listening only, for thinking and/or relax and be well.

Matthew Halsall
What I bring is the last and I think third disc trumpeter, composer, arranger, DJ and British producer , could go on but I want to take the post of once before that to the f.b.i. are you of closed mediafire, so copypego a little.
Matthew is a trumpet player equipped with a beautiful, expressive style, his music is based on his love for the transcendental, spiritual, and modal of Alice and John Coltrane and Pharoah Sanders, as well as the glories of British ' 60.
It is quite classic and beautiful, this album and the following are my favorites to read for example Cortazar's hopscotch (sometime lent it to that book...) is a disc of not many Musics, where there is a structure type bebop, or at least I think..., there are many and excellent improvisations after that returns to the opening theme, but even so all play based on music and not to show it off.
Able to later commented something else, my palabrerio, it just doesn't matter much you listen the advance and know that the album gets better still, my favorite subject is Samantha.

Scenes From a Dream (2010)

Tenth album by bassist presents a trio with pianist Larry Goldings and drummer Peter Erskine, together in most of the tracks with the Dutch Metropole Orchestra conducted by Vince Mendoza.
Melancholy is at the same time inspirational in tone and cinematic quality; music describes vividly the scenes and emotions with delicacy and sensitivity.
The opening of the set is a moving interpretation of the theme of Don Grolnick, "The Cost of Living", dedicated to his mentor Michael Brecker, with whom Doky played during the final years of Brecker.
The album features three original songs on the bass: "Arthos II" refers to the ship that brought the Doky fatherfrom Hanoi to Paris; "Rain" was inspired by the sound and the pace of the decline of condensation; its charming melody was enhanced by the large settlement of Mendoza; "Dear Mom" is a poignant Ode of Doky ill mother, capturing his singing voice.
In homage to his danés-vietnamita heritage, Doky includes two Danish folk songs and a Vietnamese traditional song, all talking about issues of peace and tranquility. Mendoza contributes with two compositions: the lyric "Vienna Would" showcases the trio, while the beautifully arranged "July and Romiet" highlights the sensitive bass and piano, along with the silent percussion and fine cords.
Goldings, Erskine and Orchestra offer beautiful and nuanced performances. Virtuosity, creativity and depth of Doky, warm tone, used both the amplitude and the fullness of this music.
In other words, his bass takes the Centre, without overwhelming the richness of the created scenes.

To be honest, it could well have ended the post and have said better, or,but days ago you have to half do and want to remove it once, because it seems to me that these musicians or disks are excellent and worth that they know them and find out more of them, I chose them following a criterion of style and quality, and if any insurance that those are all lower
