Most of the photographic icons left behind other discarded mediocre photos but that help to explain and put into context the facts. Forgotten photos, b-sides rescued to tell all the truth or that they just humanize history surrounding their famous 'big sister'. The quiet police



on August 15, 1961. Berlin. A police officer of the Germany of the East Watch the wire newly built and which separates the two Germanys, the germ of the defunct Berlin wall. To fund a group of citizens seems to talk outside the concern of the authority. The western part, the photographer Peter Leibing is documenting the construction of the wall and captures the moment of 'calm tense' which suggests the pose of the police, but could never suspect what was going to fotografiar…

A grateful fetus

The small flag



on February 23, 1945. Top of Suribachi. Japan. U.S. Army takes Hill at 10 hours and 20 minutes in the morning. Lieutenant Harold g. Schrier led the patrol and carried orders to place the flag of his ship (the USS Missoula) transport in the top so it divisara from all the nearby beaches. But the flag was too small. Immediately ordered to bringa second flag of greater proporciones…
