Continues on the same line as the debut album, namely, psychedelic music of certain intellectual character. His most notable songs are "Strange Days", "Love Me Two Times" and "People Are Strange" and "When the Music's Over". The latter often compared with "The End" by their long duration.
The album contains "Moonlight Drive", which was one of the first songs written by for . The song was originally recorded in 1965 (a demo), again in 1966 (intended for the debut album), and finally the final version in 1967, which was released on this album.
This album also includes "Horse Latitudes", which is a poem by wrote in his teens.
In the year 2003 was included as no. 407 between the 500 greatest albums of all time by Rolling Stone magazine.

Waiting for the Sun
Waiting for the Sun is the third album of the of the rock band , released in 1968.
Was the first to reach number one in sales, "Hello, I Love You" was their second number one single.Almost all of the material on this album had already been written in the early years of the group.In particular, the lyrics of "Not to Touch the Earth" is part of the long poem by "Celebration of the Lizard", with which sought to occupy one entire side of this disk, idea then dropped (though ) (Yes it was recorded full live album Absolutely Live).
This album has been criticized for its soft sound, which contrasts with the strength of the letters and the tense sound made famous to the band. However, contains four almost undisputed classics, "Five to One", "Not to Touch the Earth", "Hello, I Love You" and "The Unknown Soldier".
One of the recorded songs, "Waiting For The Sun", whose title gives its name to the album, was not included in this eventually but at Morrison Hotel in 1970.

The Soft Parade
The Soft Parade is the fourth album of the American hard rock band , released in 1969.
It was not as successful as the previous ones, perhaps due to a slightly different sound. The integration of bronze instruments and strings and the brunt of the guitarist Robby Krieger in the gestation of the album are the reasons. Still, it maintains the intellectual nature that distinguishes any other American rock band .
The unusual amount of songs written by Krieger, who also made his first vocal performance in "Runnin" Blue can be seen in the credits of the album, first attributed to each topic to their authors rather than sign as , ".

Morrison Hotel
Morrison Hotel is the fifth album of of the American hard rock band , released in 1970.
His previous work, The Soft Parade, was not very well received by the public, the band decided to return to a style markedly blues. In addition, the letters become more easygoing, though touch Morrison continues to be complex. In the same vein, they recorded their next album, L.A. Woman, the final in which participated.
It is an album by conceptual character with a wide differential between the two sides of the disc: the a-side, called Hard Rock Cafe, which contains from "Roadhouse Blues" to "Ship Of Fools" and the b-side, Morrison Hotel, from "Land Ho!" up "Maggie M'Gill".
Highlights also the collaboration of bassists Ray Neopolitan and Lonnie Mack in "Roadhouse Blues", as well as John Sebastian under the alias g. Puglese.

L.A. Woman is the sixth album of the American rock band by , released in April 1971.It was the last album recorded with lead singer , toHe died three months later in Paris.
In 2003, Rolling Stone magazine placed him in the number 362 in its list of the 500 greatest albums of all time.
It is almost exclusively an album of blues, a style which in previous works had not been more than an influence, although more marked and already dominant in the previous "Morrison Hotel".

Other Voices
Other Voices is the seventh album of of American rock bandDoors, released in 1971. Is the first with the notable absence of its leader and singer .
Recording sessions began while Morrison was in France. The song Down on the Farm would have been already written at the time of the edition of the previous record (l. a. Woman), but the singer did not want to include it for unknown reasons. According to statements by keyboardist Ray Manzarek, even some of the songs already is they had tested with Morrison before the leave, without being recorded.
The remaining three members of the band decided to go ahead with this project and regrouped to release it in October 1971, just three months after Morrison's sudden and bewildering death.
Manzarek and guitarist Robby Krieger ranked Morrison as lead singer. However, this album was a modest reception by the public, the same thing that happened to the following (Full Circle 1972). In fact, none of their songs has been included in compilations of later successes.
Only two singles were extracted: Tightrope Ride (No. 71 on Billboard Hot 100) and Ships with Sails.
It was released in CD format very limited in Europe, and is currently very difficult to achieve.

Full Circle is the eighth album of of the American hard rock band , released in 1972. Is the second after the death of its leader, , and also the last as a three-piece.
The album includes "The Mosquito", no. 85 on the Billboard Hot 100, "Get Up and Dance" and "The Piano Bird", the last singles released by the band until 1979.

An American Prayer is the ninth and final album of of the band . In 1978, six years after the band broke up, the members still alive gathered and recorded music to accompany the poems of , which had previously been registered at a meeting of 1970.
The lyrics are autobiographical and sometimes prophetic, including from criticism of the era to visions of life after death.
The album received mixed reviews upon its release and still widely divided the critics.However, he managed a Platinum certification in the United States because of its massive sales.
Its only single was a concert of the classic Roadhouse Blues, previously unreleased version. It was released in early 1979.

The Best of Doors (1985) s a disc of compilation of . Consists of two discs adding 18 (19 in the current version) songs that represent the greatest hits of the band. The disk can be observed the scarce amount of songs on the album The Soft Parade (only one, Touch Me), that the album was not very well received by the public.
According to the official web site of , the album has sold more than 10 million copies only in the United States.
