Cosmo's Factory is the fifth album of study by the American band , released in 1970.
As peak of a prolific phase, Cosmo's Factory was the fifth album of Creedence in less than two years. The album became a commercial success, reaching thepost # 1 on the Billboard album charts and placing three singles between the top five: "'Lookin Out My Back Door" and "Travelin'band' in the second position, and" Up Around the Bend ", in fourth place. More surprising still marked the entrance of Cosmo's Factory in the eleventh position of the Billboard soul albums chart, becoming a landmark for a band of pop / rock.
The title of the album comes from a house in Berkeley where the band used to rehearse. The leader of the was so insistent in trying almost every day that drummer Doug Cosmo Clifford began referring to the place as "the factory".
